Our dear best friend, Bella, turned 21 on 28th May 2011. Earlier that morning I brought the birthday girl and her sister to a musical theater which was held in my school. The musical was darn hilarious. I personally had a good time watching it. Birthday girl? Not so lol.

After which we met Dayah at Fish & Co. (Glasshouse) for B's birthday lunch. Prior to that day, Dayah and I planned to get Bella a gift. We had quite a few gift ideas. Since the birthday girl is crazy over Spongebob I suggested that we got her this super cute Spongebob toaster, a birthday card and some DIY gift cards. D was responsible for getting the toaster and making the birthday card while I was in charge of the gift cards.

I turn 21 on the following day.. Had dinner at Badoque Cafe with my family. Our first time! The ambiance was great and food was awesome! Definitely coming back to try the other dishes. The following pictures were taken with my BB cos I forgot to bring my camera along. Bummer. Now I'm craving for their butterscotch gelato!

After which we proceeded for Kung Fu Panda 3D. Went home, got changed and...... transformed into a G6 with my pals. Basically that was how I spent my 21st. Thank you my family and friends for the well wishes, celebrations and gifts! For a moment it made me look forward to my 22nd! Hahaha NOT!

So currently I'm having my school break. There's something that I wanna tell you guys but I'll keep it for some other day. Stay tuned!

THE Royal Wedding has made it into the list of trending topics. I didn't get the chance to watch Princess Diana's wedding cos I wasn't even born yet, so I was pretty excited when I heard bout Prince William's . I was looking forward to seeing Kate's wedding dress. I was watching it live via different cable channels (lol) when I spotted Sarah Burton entering the Goring Hotel. My prediction was right! Alexander McQueen!

I was reading my livejournal before this and it brought back fond memories. Family outings, friends' birthday celebrations at Phuture (most of it), started my gossip girl craze in 2007, my working life and bla bla bla. I had a good time reminiscing. At times like this, I wished I had a hot tub time machine. And oh ya, I just read and unscreened Tongster's comment which she posted in 2008. LOL.

Nuff bout the ol'. In case you didn't know, school's out! ~~Been lazing at home~~. Ok wait, I actually did lotsa household chores. Apart from that, I finally have all the time in the world to ketchup on my tv shows and start chilli(n) with my homies.

Cleared my bursting wardrobe, shoe racks, bags section and whatnots. Paint job is done. Gave my lil cousin the bed frame so now I am sleeping on the floor. Actually on the mattress la. New bed frame is arriving on Tuesday. Gonna source for a new storage space but I just don't have the time and energy. Been so busy with stuffs. Initially I wanted to create a wackier layout. Had Leighton Meester, Ian Somerhalder and of course CR9 in mind. In the end I came up with nothing of that sort. I guess simplicity works for me. Mmmm.. The purpose of this entry is to allow an insomniac who has got nothing productive to do at this hour to express her concept of nothingness. Bleah. Im excellent at multi tasking. Painting my nails, blogging and surfing the net from the desktop, installing stuffs on the laptop and texting.. Hows that. Im thinking of chilled Ribena.. Momsie had the last bottle during dinner. On Saturday, we went to Masjid Pertempatan Melayu Sembawang for Qurban. That is something we Muslims do on Hari Raya Aidiladha. Click on the link if you wanna know more. Below is the video I took of the sheep we sacrificed. Not for the faint hearted..

Later that night we had a sleepover at my aunt's place in Johore Bahru. Wanted to watch Ninja Assassin but tickets were sold out. We settled for a malay movie instead entitled Jalang. The movie was a waste of time. People in the cinema were laughing and mocking at the actors throughout the whole movie.. Hah. On a random note, my uncle is a Singaporean and he resides in Singapore. He has these at his place.. Contradicting much? Hehe.

Went back to Singapore on the very next day and attended a relative's wedding.. Had a mini family gathering at my aunt's place after that. Watched X-Men. Went to Mad Jack at Jalan Kayu for dinner. I love that place. The broccoli and strawberry salad is a must have and oh yea the cakes! I remembered to take photos only when we were having desserts.. -_-"

Weather is good for sleeping these days. Had a late night. Woke up around noon. Showered. Had pancakes and HL milk for the ultimately late breakkie. Served food in Cafe World (so addicted to this!). Watched repeats on CH27. Friendlies, qualifiers, you name it. Sigh. Life of a couch potato. Anyway, it feels weird not seeing Crissybaby playing.. He had to settle for the stands to watch the Portugal vs Bosnia game. They won though.

He is back in training with Real. Hope he gets well soon. Hahaha ok I will shut up..

SCHOOL'S OUT! For the sake of those who have been wondering, I got promoted to Pre-U 2. Pretty elated about that. Now I'm just enjoying the good life.. and err working..

On a random note.. Momsie and I share the same traits. We take serious importance in punctuality, keeping promises and not disappointing others. I would try my very best to fulfill something that someone asks me to do. Whenever my elder brothers need help in the simplest things such as making copies, buying something or whatever, they know they can depend on me. I hate to disappoint others. My golden rule is, treat others as you would like to be treated.. Even though most of the time people do not reciprocate favors, it's perfectly okay.. Do not do something for someone and expect something in return.. Hmm.. What about being punctual.. Personally I feel that showing up on time indicates your respect for other people.. It is also a good way create a positive personal impact on others. Being late is a bad habit. Habits show what type of person you are.. Bad habits hurt your image.. Do you make promises only to realize later that you can't keep them? Do you excitedly plan and tell your friends to go on an amazing vacation, movies, shopping sprees, coffee dates but then somehow it never seems to happen? You are not being true to your word. As time goes by, others, especially myself will not take you people seriously and you can jolly well FYL.. Ok done. Just wanted to let off some steam. Hah. Full attendance tonight uh! Come on downnnnnnnn!

Hey hey look who's back! Hmm anyway, I am on a not so well deserved one week holiday. Considering the effort I put into studying. Such a shame. And err I attended Mark Bonafide's private showcase at Zirca yesterday. Since I got the complimentary invites, I brought Rad along.. That resulted to a splitting headache when I was doing my accounts paper this morning. It was worth it though cos I had so much fun..

Anyways when I was in school, got a call from Nuance. I used to work at the Perfumes & Cosmetics store over at the Changi Airport. They had this kind of monthly sales contest whereby you'll get freebies if you managed to sell a specified amount of products of certain brands. I left the job somewhere in mid 2008 I think. Collected part of the products last year and they did phone me up for a few times to remind me that I managed to bag a few more items. Couldn't be bothered to collect them until today. Surprisingly they still kept the stuffs. Good job Nuance!

Daddykins fetched me from school and off we went to the Airport. Kinda missed that place! Memories of Tong & Imran (lol!) Eelen & WH, KOR ROCKS hahaha! Just got back from across the Causeway. My maiden journey behind the wheel. It went well. Anyway below are pictures of Dayah's (unplanned) birthday dinner. Hah. The three of us are kinda into the last minute prep thing lately. Had tonnes of fun being retards! Like what's new. XPS ROCKS LOR.

Yes, I am aware of the change in my skin color. Hah. It took me 2 YEARS to revert to my original skin color and within A MONTH of excessive exposure to the sun, I am back to being tanned. On a random note, I miss my carefree life where I would go shopping and chill out at Starbucks with my shopping kaki, Lilian. We had all the time in the world! Spontaneity! It was a spur-of-the-moment decision to chillax at Seletar Dam with my babygirls. For example, I was at NUM the other day. Wanted to get a pair of wedge flip flops in black. I was put to a test. The black ones were sold out, they only had it in gold and dark grey. The salesperson did his very best, used his charm, flexed his muscles to psycho me into buying it. He said that dark grey is quite similar to black, obviously it is not the same and yada yada yada.

I just stared at his face (kinda cute!) and he thought he succeeded. In the end all he got was, "Thank you so much but I think I'll pass." Woohooo. *three cheers for myself*

Being my old self, it would have been like this. I would have purchased the dark grey pair. Upon reaching home, I would throw a bitch fit. Hah. Firstly because I realize that it does not go well for example with my blue denim jeans and secondly, I could have used that $70 to get heels or something.

Yes I still want that damn black pluggers! So a week later, I would head down to a different NUM outlet to get the black pair. The dark grey pluggers will go under my bed and tadaaa $70 down the drain. Bah.

Everytime her sister tries to cut off the wires, the wires will retreat back into her body and like after a few days or so, it will grow out of her skin on a different area!!!!!

Awesome. Even though some could not make it (including my brothers) due to work commitments and whatnots. Will be having Iftar at my aunt's crib today.

I was in my brothers' room. Nearly died. It was so messy lah! Tsk tsk. Their room is akin to a motorbike workshop!

When we were younger, we used to have this Who Has The Tidiest Room Competition amongst us. We'll have like 30 minutes to tidy up our room. At the end of the 30 minutes, my brothers would inspect my room and I would inspect theirs. I know it was kinda stupid because we ended up criticizing each other's efforts. Ha ha. At the very last, we were all winners beacuse nobody wanted to give in. Bah.

If we are to have that competition again, i will definitely win hands down lor!

This happened last Thursday. Mom texted me to get some bread. So I went to NTUC Fairprice. The bread was like $1.65 cents. I took out a 10 dollar note. The Q was kinda long so I kinda had time to waste. I decided to pay with exact change. Slid the note into my pocket. The receipt too.

I was on my way home. Humming to some tunes. PLOOOP! Guess what? A bird crapped on my head!! I hurried to the nearest void deck while ransacking my bag in search of a packet of tissue. Damn those tissues, where were they when I needed them the most????? I slipped my hand into the side pocket only to find an NTUC receipt. Yeap I patted my whole head using the receipt. Oiii emergency leh. I think I have developed an acute phobia of birds pooping on my head. I am Birdcraphobic.

After my shower, I emptied my pockets only to find the 10 dollar note missing. Wth.

On Saturday, I went to JB with my family. I have a habit of slipping my hand into the pocket. Guess what I found? A 10 dollar note. I was like OMG THIS IS SUCH A MIRACLE! I FOUND MY MONEY BACK. My mom just had to interrupt.

"Hello? That was the change for the nachos yesterday. Anyway you were not even wearing those jeans the other day."

Apparently, I attended Money No Enough 2 private movie screening with mommy the day before. Bleargh. Jack Neo is a funny man. I won tickets to the movie screening. Got to meet Jack Neo and some of the casts including Mediacorp's artistes.

Anyway I have watched the movie way earlier. Caught the movie at Lido with Lian. Such a bad bad experience right Lian? HAHAHAHA.

Ok lah gotta watch some shows and prepare my stuffs for work tomorrow. Booohoooo!
